LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
* To understand the physiological responses of heart failure patients during endurance- and resistance-type exercises as well as knowledge of the important outcome measures obtained from exercise testing.
* To be able to appropriately prescribe and monitor aerobic and resistance exercise in heart failure patients and to understand important adaptations that occur with chronic exercise training.
