Howard University invites applications for one tenure track position (any rank) in Quantitative Psychology to begin Fall 2010. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology (Candidates who expect to earn a Ph.D. by August 2010 will also be considered). The particular area of specialization is open. Successful candidates for this position will have a strong record of research promise/accomplishment with potential to attract extramural funding and evidence of a commitment to excellent teaching and mentoring. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate- and graduate-level courses in statistics and research methods. Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, up to three samples of scholarly work, a research statement, a teaching statement, graduate transcripts, and three letters of recommendation to: Chair, Search Committee, Department of Psychology, 525 Bryant Street, NW, Washington, DC 20059. Review of applications will begin February 25, 2010 and continue until the position is filled. Filling this position is contingent on the availability of funds.
