Bridging The Divide: Suicide Awareness and Prevention Summit
May 21, 2010
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS February 1, 2010

Fort Collins, Coloado



Blocks:

1. Developmental Focus – a presentation targeted towards a specific age group

2. Role Focus – a presentation targeting differing disciplines and professions addressing suicide issues

3. Cultural Competence Focus – a presentation focusing on ethnic, gender, military, sexual orientation and geographical differences


The program committee strongly encourages each presentation represent cultural competency. Please indicate how your presentation will meet that requirement.


Attach a copy of Abstract and Presentation Description, following the guidelines below. You MUST send an electronic copy of the abstract and presentation description.



Content for all presentation should follow the format below. Please use this outline for the body of your abstract.

¨ Presentation objectives

¨ How will your presentation address development, role or cultural competency

¨ Your results, outcomes, or findings

¨ How your work relates to what is already known on the topic

¨ How will you engage your audience?



REMINDER: DEADLINE FOR PRESENTATION SUBMISSIONS IS
February 1, 2010. You will be notified by March 5, 2010 if your proposal has been accepted.


For inclusion in materials, an electronic copy of your completed presentation must be submitted via email to: Sally@CarsonJSpencer.org by May 1, 2010.



Call for presentations must be emailed to Sally@CarsonJSpencer.org.



Please make sure that you submit all required materials, and that you e-mail your Letter of Agreement to Sally@CarsonJSpencer.org.
