Research Resources & Project Development

As part of our mission, ESIN provides the information, resources, and training opportunities junior investigators need to navigate the academy. ESIN’s Virtual Campus provides access to these tools and resources including:

  • Research Study Groups, where members can pursue collaborative research projects with other ESIN Scholars and Mentors.

  • The Research Project area, where scholars can manage their research agendas and projects as well and invite other ESIN members to collaborate.

  • A Calls for Collaboration tool that allows mentors and scholars to post requests for research partners, whether they are looking for a project or have a project and are looking for collaborators.

  • The Research Reference Desk, where scholars can obtain resources for conducting research and ask advice from the Network.

  • A Grants Office, where scholars can find the latest calls for proposals and funding announcements.

  • A Research Library, where members can access a growing archive of research literature related to ethnic/racial minorities.

  • A central Databank that provides access to public and privately developed datasets.

ESIN also offers its members the opportunity to engage in intensive Research Training, where members can take statistical and methodological training classes to further enhance their skills.

Excellent Scholarship is a Prerequisite for Social Change
